Lia Briganti
Lia Briganti has taken her degree in Phylosophy at the
University of Bologna ( Italy) in 1981.
From the ’78 to the ’81 , she has collaborated at a research in Linguistic
Education in the School of the 150 Hours in the Regional Institut of Psychopedagogy
of Learning of the Region Emilia-Romagna.
From the ’82 to the ’84 , she has been Associated Professor of Semiotics
at the Department of Semiotics and Performing Arts of The American College
of Rome of the University of Charleston, West Virginia, U.S.A., in Rome,
Italy.
During the Academic Year ‘82-’83 she has teached Text Theory in the
same Department.
From the ’83 to the ’91 she has worked as researcher in Linguistics and
in Semantics at the Faculty of Linguistics and Science of the Literature
of the University of Bielefeld, Germany.
From the ’85 to the ’91 she has worked also in the Informatic Center of
the University of Bielefeld in the fields of the Logical-Semantic Languages
and of the Artificial Intelligence Languages.
During the ‘ 88 she has developed a research in the fields of the Linguistics
and of the Artificial Intelligence for the Center of American Studies of
Romes ; the title of the research is the following : “ Teaching English
by the Textual Method “ .
During the ’91, she has taken courses of Italian as foreign language
at the Volkhochschule of Bielefeld.
In ’94 , in the framework of a course of training for intrapreneurs
of the European Comunity ( NOW course ) at the ECIPAR of Bologna, she has
followed a stage in Informatics at the software house Gruppo Formula-West
80 of Bologna; during the stage she has collaborated to create the multimedial
prototype “ Bologna metropolitan town “.
In ’95 she has founded C.I.R.N.E.T. , the International Center of Research
for the New Technologies, that has its seat in Bologna and of which she
is the president.
